Nice place for dinner. We ordered the Arugula salad with artichoke to share and they served it in separate plates. Antipasto app was tastey. Main courses were good as well. Osso buco just fell off the bone. Can get a little loud ( we sat next to a party of 6). Unfortunately forgot our leftovers on the table.
I actually liked their food and service, fantastic location next to my house. The workers are always helpful. Will come back again.
I visit this place a lot! This is my favorite place to to have a good dinner. I go to this spot at least once a month. The meals are excellent, the staff members are polite and the cost is fair. I like meeting in this spot for a good meal.
Basilivo, located in Millburn, NJ, is a friendly, family restaurant where you can bring your own wine or choose from their delightful selections. Our pasta and seafood choices were wonderful but our desserts were AWESOME!
Placed an order for pick up for my husbands birthday dinner. The place was completely empty despite having cute outdoor seating. The pasta had minimal sauce in it and I wished there was more- it was a delicious spicy tomato sauce. The Caesar salad had a weird honey tasting dressing and not Caesar dressing but that could have been part of their creativity. I have to say the shrimp and lobster in the linguine was tasty, the bread was soft and fresh, and the cranberry goat cheese fig salad was delicious. Portion of the pasta was good. It also stayed in place during transport because they have good packaging and it stayed very warm. I will probably order from here again.
Food is very good. Service is very good. The only downside is that it tight and somewhat noisy. All in all worth the trip.

Our favorite high end but casual place. Excellent food, unpretentious service and generally easy availability makes this a great option for a quiet business lunch or a relaxing meal with friends
Food and service were perfect.
Went for a Valentines lunch. Had a great meal with great service. Unlike valentines dinners we didn't feel rush or limited by a prefix menu. Perfect for date night or a nice lunch.
Delicious food with soup specials in vegetarian broth, but pricey for dinner.

Honestly I’m not sure why the reviews are so great. I think everything was pretty average at best. Some of the bread was stale, the Cesar salad was so over dressed it was inedible, the artichoke appetizer was bland, and so was the chicken parmigiana! The mushroom ravioli dish was good, but the waiter only checked in once while we ate.
This place is definitely one of the most attractive place in the region. Anytime I come to this place I am exceedingly pleased. They manage their very high standard service and the topmost level of food they offer. You definitely will enjoy this this place. Highly recommended.
Buncha Wine Library employees got together here one Monday night. The food was good (delicious salmon was delicious). Cream puffs were to die for, cannoli were average. Thanks for hosting us, Basilico staff =)
I've been meaning to review this place for a bit, but kept forgetting bc I am not one to care to review places but this place deserves my review. I give them 5 stars and this is why. The food/specials never disappoints. Especially the soup special, that's what keeps me coming back here honestly. The food is fresh and delicious. Not only this, but the staff is probably the best I've encountered as well. They remember your face, what you like, and even remember my dairy allergy test(which is a hassle to eat out, but they have enough dairy free options & gluten free). I love this place. I wish them the best and hope they keep going. It's one of the best near home.
Usually love this place but last night was not a good meal. The Quail special I got was over cooked and my wife's salad was almost inedible. My main course was bland and just OK. On service, the server was handing my wife the plate as to placing it in front of her and it took a long time to clear our plates after finishing. Plus no one came up to ask if everything was OK. We were like an afterthought.It will be awhile till I go back there again if ever!!!

Came here for the first time for my wedding anniversary. Best Italian food in the neighborhood. Loved everything we ordered from the calamari, caesar's salad with anchovies, osso bucco with fettuccini, shrimp fra diavolo to dessert with chocolate tartufo, tiramisu and espresso. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. Will definitely come back here again
I was invited to a retirement party held at Basilico. It was a set menu. We all ordered different things and everyone raved about their meal. Dessert was amazing. I will definitely go back. Parking was hard but that's not the fault of the restaurant
First time visit for lunch which was excellent. We shared three appetizers and everything was fresh and delicious. Faro and shrimp salad entree was especially good.
Great food, service, ambiance....todo! We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait a bit, but it was so well worth it. The food and service are exceptional. Bar none - we will be back again (and again).
Going for the second time only confirmed my previous suspicion that this is the best Italian restaurant in Millburn. The tuna tartar was spectacular and the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. Not to mention the presentation of the food is exquisite.

Excellent service very warm inviting friendly or she's going to leave anything here so I can just go home after. The food was amazing. Brought my own bottle of nice wine and enjoy the night. Not your typical Italian restaurant has many exotic dishes along with the traditional ones. I personally had the beef rib and it was so soft and succulent I did not even have to use a knife. So we decided to save room for dessert and what a good decision because they have one of the top pastry and dessert chefs around and that definitely finished the night off correctly thank you for a good night

Last evening a friend and I had dinner here before going to nearby Papermill. The welcome was warm and inviting, the service most attentive and the dinner delicious, a truly winning combination! Make your way here, it will not disappoint!
Food was delicious but took sooooo soooo long to come out. Even our appetizer - and we went a few hours after it had opened. Not sure if the kitchen was short staffed, but going with a grandfather who’s in the process of getting a knee replacement wasn’t the best thing with so much sitting still while seated. Would recommend the artichoke appetizer!
Cozy atmosphere, friendly staffs, good comfort foods. They offer wine and also let you bring your own wine. Lots of pasta and seafood option.
